Clumber Park Styled Photo Shoot

Dolly Hair Co and Make Up By Jenni contacted me with an idea for a bridal photo shoot with a dark twist – the idea of ‘From Darkness Comes Light’ created stunning, contemporary photography.

I love quirky photography and thinking outside of the box so this was a fantastic opportunity to flex some creative muscles!

We worked along some other amazing suppliers (please go visit them and say hi) and they helped make the day hugely successful. We started off by doing some promotional venue shots for the gorgeous National Trust location, Clumber Park.

The day was a dark, cloudy, dismal, raining and cold. Perfectly suited to the mood and the theme of the photo shoot! Each photograph shows the truly talented hair and make up artists amazing skills.

We had the pleasure of working with 3 amazing models that were so versatile, talented and stunningly beautiful. They were also super stars for braving the wind, cold and rain throughout the whole shoot. Not once did any of them complain! Big thanks go to Misty, Roks and Gemma.

We also had the chance to work with Sheer Gold Wedding Cars – they kindly provided the most beautiful Rolls Royce for our photo shoot.

The amazing wedding dresses were provided by the bridal shop Wedding Wishes of Worksop. We were hugely grateful as without the loan and trust given to us of the dresses, the models would have been a lot colder than they already were!

We did a mixture of indoor and outdoor shots and created a dreamy, thoughtful bride photo shoot.

We also had the resources of the amazingly talented designer Rebecca at Vintage Fascinators. The bouquets she supplied were just beautiful and helped create the final look we were after.

After a while, the polished look was turned into a more grungy, darker look and we went a little bit bride turned witch in the woods!

I truly hope you enjoy looking through these photographs as much as I enjoyed being part of the whole day. It was an honour to be involved and I have since made some amazing friends in life and in business.
